The challenge

Young children straight out of high school nowadays immediately look to get into higher education or similar right after graduation. Looking at the numbers of individuals who drop out in university, a variety of reasons can be found. Most commonly the student does not like what they are studying or is not prepared enough for the particular degree. My project wishes to address this, making it easier for young and often clueless children make better decisions that will impact the rest of their lives and hopefully not waste their time.

The solution

A website designed to help fulfill the needs of everyone looking for further education by compiling a list of universities by user chosen criteria. Users will be able to see information at a glance of the chosen university, their degrees, requirements and corresponding websites and links. Additionally the website will also provide information surrounding the universities themselves like deadlines, open days and more. Made for people who have no idea yet as to what to study, ideally giving them a clear overview of the possibilities they have and receiving all of the necessary information from the universities themselves, but also from graduates of said courses.
