Daily need direct (DND)
The challenge
We all know food delivery services. They come in many forms and are quite useful when we cannot be bothered to go out to get food ourselves. Some are even created by supermarket chains themselves, such as Albert Heijn. However, such deliveries are often done by truck due to the volume offered and the range they can cover. In an age of decarbonization however, we should aim to be able to complete such deliveries without the expenditure of carbon emissions. Especially for students who rarely buy in large volumes.
The solution
We are introducing Daily need direct (DND), the solution to shopping as a student. Organize yourself and your neighborhood into collective shopping requests that can be carried out with delivery bikes. By bundling deliveries You are able to save money while Daily need direct (DND) gains the volume necessary to be competitive. Simply create a neighborhood group, add your desired products to the shopping cart and send out the order. Each day before 18.00 you will have your groceries delivered to you. (limited by weight to simple daily necessities to avoid overweight deliveries / logistical struggles)
Solve your daily grocery hassle and aid the climate all in one.
