Anti-Kraak Student Housing

The challenge

The student housing crisis is similar to a disease that the city of Maastricht has not found a cure for yet. Every year hundreds of students from Europe and outside the continent struggle to secure housing in time before their respective courses start due to a shortage in student housing. Some students reach Maastricht hoping to secure accommodation in a short time span which is far from reality. I, myself was homeless for 6 weeks during which a kind friend hosted me. The form of housing I secured is a potential solution to the student housing crisis.

The solution

By being the bridge that connects and manages Anti-Kraak properties specifically for students. We'd be able to not only use unoccupied rental properties but also provide housing for numerous students at an affordable price.
